Types of energy efficient lighting installed by Integrity Power and Electric

LED (Light Emitting Diodes)

This type of lighting uses 75-80% less energy than incandescent bulbs. Additionally, you can save on cooling costs due to the heat the lights are NOT giving off. LED lights also last up to 25 times longer.

HID (High Intensity Discharge) Lights

These are also known as Metal Halides. These are normally used in warehouses and large commercial environments. They are very efficient at producing large quantities of a very bright light.

CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lights

These are the spiral looking light bulbs that you an use in the place of incandescent light bulbs. They last ten times as long and use up to 75% less energy.

Commercial Fluorescent Lights

These are used as overhead lights in many commercial settings. They use 65-80% less electricity than incandescent bulbs and last up to ten times as long, with a comparable amount of light given off.

Halogen Lights

These are twice as energy efficient as incandescents, and produce a very bright white light. The are normally used outdoors as security or stadium lights.
